Our READER LEVELS are developed, independent of the publishing houses which are all based on different formulae, in an attempt to create a universal system that you can easily use to find the "just right" book for your reader.
READER LEVELS are groupings of books that we have classified based on a similar level of complexity and readability. The levels are determined based on our careful evaluation of language, story elements, visuals and format/layout/design. Our detailed information will allow you to make a leveling decision unique to your reader.
***Here's how to use our READER LEVELS***
*find a title that your child is comfortable reading
*note the reading level
*browse through the other books at that level
OR
*check out the reader level definitions on the "PAGE" to the right entitled READER LEVELS DEFINED
*determine your reader's level (you can also ask your child's teacher or librarian for their opinion)
*browse through the other titles at that level
